What We Do
Our Programs
Four interconnected initiatives that address the root causes of inequality — from getting children back to school to helping women achieve economic independence.
Education
Street to School
The UDISE+ data reveals a concerning school dropout rate — particularly at secondary level (12.6%) and upper primary (3%). Financial hardship, family responsibilities, and societal norms are the main barriers. Our Learning Centres bring children back into the education system and onto a path to a sustainable livelihood.
Empowerment
Women Forward
Economic independence changes everything — for women, for their families, and for their communities. Our skill-building programs give women practical abilities and the confidence to use them, creating pathways to meaningful work and financial self-sufficiency.
Care
Elder Care
Senior citizens in India often face isolation, neglect, and the struggle to meet basic needs. Our Elder Care program ensures that no older person in our community is left without support, dignity, or connection. We work to address both material needs and the profound human need to belong.
Community
Helping Each Other
The most powerful force for change is community itself. Our "Helping Each Other" initiative brings people together to support one another — not as charity recipients and donors, but as neighbours. Every act of mutual support makes the whole community stronger.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Any parent, guardian, community member, or school teacher can refer a child who has dropped out or is at risk of dropping out. Contact us directly and we will guide you through the process.
Yes. All Utsav Foundation programs are free for participants. Our programs are funded through individual donations, corporate partnerships, and grants. We believe financial barriers should never prevent someone from accessing opportunities.
Donations go directly toward program costs — learning materials, meals at our centres, instructor salaries, skill training equipment, and elder care supplies. We maintain full financial transparency and share regular impact reports with all donors.
Corporate partnerships are tailored to your organisation's CSR goals. We offer structured programs in education, women empowerment, and community development. Reach out via our contact page and we will arrange a consultation to understand your objectives.
Yes. While many volunteer roles are on-site in Gujarat, we also have opportunities for remote support — including content writing, design, translation, and online tutoring. Apply through our contact form and tell us about your skills.
