How We Started
Born from a shared vision
Utsav Foundation was born from a shared dream of creating a better world. Founded by a passionate individual along with like-minded friends, the organisation is dedicated to empowerment, equality, and social justice.
What began as a small group of people who believed that collective action could transform lives has grown into a sustained commitment to the communities that need it most — children without access to education, women without economic opportunity, and senior citizens without support.

Empathy First

Every rupee is accounted for. We maintain clear records, share regular impact reports, and welcome scrutiny from donors and partners alike.
Dignity for All
We never treat the people we serve as beneficiaries — they are partners. Every interaction is grounded in mutual respect and the recognition that each person holds the solutions to their own challenges.
Inclusion
We actively reach those who are most marginalised — girls facing barriers to education, differently-abled individuals, and those at the edges of formal social safety nets.
Impact Over Activity
We do not measure success by the number of events held or people reached — we measure it by whether lives have genuinely improved in ways that last.
Our Focus
Who we serve
We focus on three groups that face the greatest barriers to leading lives of dignity and opportunity — children, women, and senior citizens.
Children
Children without access to quality education — whether because of financial hardship, family responsibilities, or societal norms. Our Learning Centres bring them back to school and give them a path to a brighter future.
Women
Women who want to contribute to their households and communities but lack the skills, networks, or opportunities to do so. Our programs open doors to economic independence.
Senior Citizens
Older people who are isolated, unsupported, or struggling with basic needs. We work to ensure dignity and community connection for every senior citizen in our reach.

Utsav Foundation is a registered nonprofit under Purple-i Group, a 20+ year-old organisation with a proven track record in social impact, technology, and community development.
The Purple-i Group brings infrastructure, governance, and networks that allow Utsav Foundation to operate efficiently and at scale — while staying true to its grassroots mission.
